'Of Heaven and Home " Deseret News Television Editor Is anyone in Hollywood or New York listening to the televiewing public? From some sources, we hear the networks and producers pay attention to every letter. Now from a reliable source comes information that the ABC network hasnt paid any attention to the more than million letters mailed in to protest the cutback of Peyton Place. , According to this source, the letters and postcards were bundled up and sent over to 20th Century-Fox- , where Peyton Place is produced. We hold no brief for Pey, ton Place. Whether it remains or is canceled matters not. What matters is that the public should be treated with calloused indifference. After watching Peyton Place for the years it has .been on, the viewing audience that cares enough to write should be acknowledged.
