in their respective counties therefore 1 I brigham young governor of said territory have caused the enumeration of the inhabitants to be taken and the following apportionment to be made and direct that an election be held in the respective precinct precincts a throughout the territory on the first in august next in accordance cor dance with the existing laws of the provisional government ernnie establish a territorial government for utah approved sept 9 1850 devolves the duties of superintendent of indian affairs within said territory upon the governor of said territory and whereas there have been appointed by the united states government one indian agent and two sub agents fur fur for this territory now therefore by virtue of said authority and to advance the tiie purposes of the government for the benefit of the indians I 1 do hereby order and direct that this territory be divided into three agencies as follows to wit the first or parvan indian agency to include all within the limits of the territory west of the shoshone nation and north of the south line of the parvan valley the second or uinta agency to include all of the snakes or shoshones Sho within said territory the uinta and yampa all other tribes south within said territory and east cast of the eastern rim of the great basin I 1 the third or parowan carowan agency 0 to include all the country lying west of
