There have been ao Many, and in sores places leadersl'dp has been so Weak and the time so short, that , the the round-tabl- e training has not been am strong es it should. Ill, new Plits Provides tot' 'post advisors, Scoutmasters, and Cubmastera, district tommissioners and other Scouters who wish to attend, to some together oes night a month for opecialized 'training. From four to ix or seven stakes jobs together In an area. This makes the group large enough to bold the Interest of the men. It also makes the number of round-tablfew enough so that they can be property planned '' and given the right kind of leadership. RIGHT AREAS IN COUNCIL : There are now eight areas in the council; A member olthe council staff has been assigned to each area. He can commissioners in the districts and work with the together they can pia; a meeting that will be both interesting and beneficial to all who attend. The plan has worked out very well in two areas where It has been Wed. So now it is being adopted throughout the counciL Them is ens problem to be worked out in connection with the new program. It is simple, It means that Scouter. In LDS districts now hive to attend two meetings a month Instead of one. Most of the round-table- s In the past have ' been held in connection with the itake WA leadership meet. ing. If the new plan takes these men away from this meeting will ben mistake. , jt . RESPONSIBLE TO SPONSORING UNIT Some me in the program on ward and stake levels feel that their first responsibility is to the local' and national councils. Such is not the cese,'They are tailed inn) the Program by the sponsoring institution,' which is the wart They - are officers In the MIA, in the ward, and in the stake. They hive :the same responsibility to the Mutual as do any other of the Mutual officers. The area round table does not take the place of the stake leadership meeting. Already the good 'effects of the plan are being seen. A sompleta schedule has been drawn torah l sight areas. They will be held in the next two weeks. Programs for most of these have been carefully worked out and printed. This is the kind of preparation that :inures the success of any meeUn SCREDVLS TO ROUND TABLIS Following is the schedule for the round tables: ' Monday, November 21 Area 4, Znsign Ward, 7:30 p.m. ' Area 7,, Kamm, 7:30 p.m. ' Wednesday, November 23 7:30 for American Hall, cubbing.
