An interesting meeting of the Deseret Pareul Society fbx.tha .cultivation and improvement of stock, bees, fish, Ac." wan held last evening at the Historian's Ofilce. The CornmltteV.appbhited at the previous meeting to draft a Constitution for the Society, made a and report, and, after a few1 emendations, s the Preamble and they had prepared were accepted. Bix committees, each composed of five members, were selected to take under their supervision the various Branches for the fostering and promotion of which the Society bad been organized. Several of the " gentlemen whose names are above were not present at the meeting last evnlng,'and that one or tiro of them have not, as yet, become members of the Society. But tbey Vere selected because of their known familiarity with the business which haj been assigned to the com mlttees of which they are chosen members, and with the design of making the committees as influential as possible by the weight of their names. Should they not wish to serve in this capacity, or are precluded by circumstances from bestowing the attention whJsli li required to the .business, they. wiUpblige the Society Ly informing the Secretary, A. The superiority of the Italian over the common Bee was dwelt upon, and it was judged best to send for the, Italian variety only. We have but comparatively few hives of bees of any kind in the Teorltory at present, and now la Urn tlme.if we wldh to hare Italians only, ,to euecttbei change. If the. Once have them introduced, and there would be but little trouble in keeping the stock.pure. Every will, soon find it to his interest, if Italian bees become common, to changehhi Black Bees Into that variety; for they are great work-er- a, and do not scruple to rob other hives to .enrich their own.
