Hewas born Mart h SI, IblO. at Cambridge, England, and was tin refore in hlsSIrtjear. He embrand the Gospel, being baptized by Charles W. Waudall, Junc21st, 1S3S. He-came to America Amer-ica in an early day, aud was ordained or-dained a Seventy in the fall of 1SH, by President Joseph Young, was set apart as a quotum president on May 4th, 1S51, and he oceui led the position of secretary and treasurer for the body of the Seventies fer over forty yenrs. He, in bygone d.-ijs, was recorder of bait lake City, and was also at one time chief clerk of the lower branch of the Legislative Ate-mbly. Elder Campbell was a good, honest, de-otional de-otional man, with faith ia God that never failed him, King almost phenomenal. The cause of death was debility superinduced by old age.
