Show DAVIS OCTOBER 2, 1985 REFLEX-JOURNA- obituary Tebbs children Golden M. Adams Golden Marion Adams, 89, of Ogden, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 1985 in an Ogden nursing home of causes incident to age. Navy Seaman Recruit Charles W. Stuart, son of Charles W. and Wanda L. Stuart of 279 E. 800 S., Layton, has completed recruit HE WAS born March 10, 1896, in Layton, a son of Marion Fifth and Louisa Hill Adams. He married La Verde Evans June 16, 1920, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Feb. 14, 1951. He married Athleen Revor on May 23, 1952. The marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. HE WAS an athlete at the University of Utah and later played baseball with Tremonton in the Utah-Idah- o League. He was a teacher, coach and principal in the Davis County School system for 40 years. He had lived in Layton for 80 years and in Ogden the last nine years. MAX BISHOP KERISSA was born July 28, 1980 at Hill Air Force Base. She was in kindergarten at Layton Elementary School. KASSIDY was born Jan 1 1 , 1985 in Layton. Surviving are their parents of Layton. ALSO surviving are grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley A. Tebbs, Layton; Boyd C. Stone Kyle Roderick Stone, 22, of 857 Oxford Drive, Layton, died in- Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1985 of juries sustained in an auto acci- training at Recruit Training Command, San Diego. DURING Stuarts eight-wee- k training cycle, he studied general military subjects designed to prepare him for further academic and on the job training in one of the Navys 85 basic fields. Sept. 20, 1985 at the Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of heart failure. HE GRADUATED from the University of Utah and was president of the Sigma Chi Fraternity for two years. He was a member of the Ogden 74th LDS Ward. He had been a member of the Layton st Ward for 80 years where he had served as Sunday school president. He also served on the North Davis Sunday School Stake Board. He served a mission to the Eastern States for three years. 1 HE WAS born March 27. 1908. in Kaysville. a son of Frank H. and Minnie Jarman Bishop. He married Florence Armstrong March 25, 1930 in Bountiful. HE HAD lived in Detroit, Mich., in Bountiful for several years, and in Kaysville since 1945. He attended schools in Utah and Michigan, graduating from the LDS High School. HE WAS an elder in the Kaysville 1st Ward where he worked in scouting and other auxiliary organizations. He operated the Bishop Ford Agency in Layton for many years before he became owner of E&M Ford in North Layton for 37 years. He was president of Utah Auto Dealers in 1963. He was active on HE WAS a charter member of the Layton Kiwanis and Layton Rotary Clubs. He served on the Layton Town Board and on the Kays Creek Irrigation Board. Surviving are his widow of Layton, one son and three daughters, Clark Golden Adams, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Bryan L. (Elaine) Harris, Carson City, Nev.; Mrs. John G. (Lois) Putnuk, Completes Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Stephen L. (Marion) Robinson, Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.; dren and 21 10 grandchil- ALSO SURVIVING is a brother, Diamond R. Adams, Layton. He was preceded in death by a sister. Funeral services were held Monday at Lindquists Layton Mortuary with Bishop Roger E. Grua of the Ogden 74th Ward officiating. He attended Ricks College and was attending Weber State College at the time of his death.
