(Dorothy) Markham, Mrs. Danny (Joyce) Weaver, Mrs. Don (JoAnn) Stone, all of South Weber; Max Dee Poll, Riverdale; 41 grandchiland dren, 98 one Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. William (LaVern) Poll, Mrs. Lincoln (Letha) Smith, both of South Weber; Mrs. Chris (Mabel) Hanney, Mrs. Ona McMdlan, both of East Layton; Mrs. LaMar(Ireta) Taylor, Riverdale. ?; y. , CHLOE MAY JAQUES POLL Mrs. Chloe May Jaques Poll, 85, of 2555 E. 78(X) S., South Weber, died Monday, May 13, 1985 at the home of a son in South Weber of causes incident to age. of Thomas William and Emma Luciene Bybee Jaques. She married Royden Vine Poll Feb. 14, 1918 in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple March 9, 1932. He died July 11, 1972. SHE HAD been a barber Weber. She had lived in Uintah and East Layton in her childhood. After her marriage she and her husband lived at the dam in Weber Canyon, in Gateway and in Peterson, Morgan She lived in County, from 1926-3South Weber since 1932. in South SHE ATTENDED the Dawson Hollow School in East Layton. She was a member of the South Weber 3rd Ward. In her earlier life she had been active as a Sunday School teacher. Primary teacher and a Relief Society visiting teacher. SHE WAS born July 29, 1895 in Gunnison, Colo., a daughter of William A. and Margaret Ann Dick Ralston. She married Claude M. May Dec. 23, 1914 in Laramie, Wyo. He died Oct. 29, 1978. SHE GRADUATED from Laramie High School and attended the SHE IS a 1984 graduate of Weber State College. 1985 in Sunrise Hospital of heart HE WAS born Oct. 1, 1914 FAMILY prayer was by Herman J. May, 89, formerly of Layton, died Wednesday, May 15, 1985 in an Ogden nursing home of causes incident to age. Mrs. Jeane Perkins spent the past three weeks in Sacramento, Calif, with her mother Mrs. Susan Lilly. Her mother fell and broke her hip. Randy Perkins, son of Jeane and Irvin Perkins has been confined to the Cottonwood Hospital undergoing treatment for a leg injury. Mrs. Esther Clay spent a few days in Caliente, Nev. with her son Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clay and children. np failure. e, SHE WAS born Feb. 26, 1900 in Uintah, Weber County, a daughter Second Lt. Vicky L. Nielsen, daughter of Bob J. and Emma L. Nielsen, 1667 N. Bonne Way, Layton, hascompleted the military intelligence officer basic course at the Army Intelligence School, I ort liuachuca, Ariz. W. Woodrow Roberts, 70, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Layton, died Tuesday, May 14, SHE WAS preceded in death by two grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were Friday in the Lindquist and Sons in Ogden with Bishop Rodney J. Westbroek of the South Weber 3rd Ward officiating. s Kaysville News Completes Course He married Bessie Allen. They were later divorced. He married Fern Voss and they were divorced. He later married Marie Poser. HE HAD been a sheet metal worker. He had lived in Layton until moving to Las Vegas 23 years ago. He attended Davis High School and was a member of the LDS Church. SURVIVING are his widow of Las Vegas; four daughters, Mrs. Arden (Vevedeen) Wolverton, North Ogden; Mrs. Glen (RaNae) Esther Carson Hancock, 70, ot 313 W. Liberty, Layton, died Thursday, May 16, 1985 at Humana Davis North Hospital of heart failure SHK WAS born Aug. 26, 1914 in Lehi. Utah, a son of W. Mathew and ElMeda Giles Carson. She married Verd P. Hancock April 14, 1933 in Salt Lake City. They were later divorced. 12 grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Arvol (Lydia) Allen, Layton. FUNERAL services were held Saturday in Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary with Pres. Brent A. Allen of the Layton West Stake officiating.
