Wayne Burton is back to the family home following a week's Hostreatment at the McKay-Depital in Ogden. He had a month of e sickness prior to his hospitalization. Mrs. Meriam Wilkinson and Mrs. Virginia Bennett were hostesses to members of their old MIA Board group on Thursday evening in West Point. Twelve were in attendance. Mass held for Young Tomasita Tommy" Aerts Young, 71, of Layton, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1985 of cancer. SHE WAS born Aug. 23, 1914 in Dawson, New Mexico, a daughter of Pat and Inez Pacheco Aerts. She married Ormal Brig" Young on July 17, 1954, in Elko, Nev. He later died. She was a retired Civil Service employee at Hill Air Force Base. She had lived in Eagle, Colo. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Eagles Lodge and a member of the Air Stream Trailer Club. HE WAS born Sept. 4, 1914 in Garland, a son of Banshichi and Ito Nomura Kano. He married Aileen Shizuko Kunihiro Nov. 12, 1938 in Santa Maria, Calif. HE HAD been a farmer until owner and operator of Kano and Sons Repair in Syracuse until retiring in 1975. 1960. He was also League. Surviving are his widow of Syracuse, four sons and tw o daughters, Raymond Kano, Hayward, Calif.; Lyman Kano, Roy: Calvin Kano, San Mateo, Calif.; Ivin Kano, Syracuse, Mrs. George Gillian) Tomimoto, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Rick (Arlene) Aoki, Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren. Park John Milton Park, 90, of 1015 W. Gentile, Layton, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1985 at Humana Davis North in Layton of pneumonia. HE WAS born April 20, 1895 in Millcreek, a son of James G. and Lillian Phillips Park. He married Enid Greaves March 3, 1915 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died March 14. 1971. He married Shirley Wheeler Vance June 24, 1980 in the Ogden LDS Temple. HE HAD been an accountant and served as a member of the Granite School Board. He moved to Layton in 1936 and was Layton City administrator for 17 years. He was Davis County clerk for It)1; years, retiring in 1971 at 76. HE HAD also been a farmer. He was active in the LDS Church, serving as a bishop's counselor. Scout leader, clerk for the North Davis Stake, and was the first bishop of the Layton Fourth Ward. The Park Street Chapel was built under his direction. He also served as a counselor in the Layton Stake presidency and as patriarch for the Layton Stake. He had been a scaler in the Ogden LDS Temple. SURVIVING are his widow of Layton, two sons and three daughters, Milton Park, Woods Cross; Alma Park, Bountiful; Mrs. Earl (Mary) Hamblin. Farr W'est; Mrs. Jean Petersen.
