HIE CONCERT Orchestra of moie than 70 members, ages performs at least three free conceits annually and rehearses on Saturday s from 7 a m. to 9:50 a.m. Student players come from five counties in Utah and represent many schools in at least nine i bool districts. Competitive auditions are held tw ice during the year to select play-ei- s foi this orchestra. The present conductor is Dr. Jason Klein, conductor of the University of Utah 12-2- Orchestra. THE STUDENT Orchestra, with members from years of age, is conducted by Dan Rich of the Davis school District. The Student Orchestra also meets weekly and performs two concerts annually. I his is an excellent training orchestra where players gain experience in group playing. 7-- These two orchestras are directed by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of parents and friends, plus a Symphony Guild which supports the activities of both orchestras.
