Mrs, Virginia Wilson and Mrs. Dorothy Williams was also a home teacher and worked with the Boy Scouts. SURVIVING are three sons and two daughters, Melvin P. Waite, Roy; Elden P. Waite, Salt Lake City (Rose Park); Max G. Waite, Mrs. Parley (LeRaine) Hamblin and Mrs. Richard (Wilma) Cowley, all of Syracuse; 22 grandchildren and 43 Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Silverine Fielding, Syracuse. GERALD WAITE Gerald Sessions Waile, Funeral directors, Lindquists 87, of 1373 S. 2000 W., Syracuse, died Tuesday, March 19, 1985 in a Clearfield nursing home. HE WAS born April 10, 1897 in Mountain Green, Utah, a son of John A. and Lucina Sessions Waite. He married Selina A. Page on April 24, 1918 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Jan. II, 1980. HE HAD been a farmer. He had been employed at the Clearfield Naval Supply Depot. He had worked at Hill Air Force Base for 22 years. He lived a short time in Mountain Green and had lived most of his life in Syracuse. HE WAS educated in Davis County schools. He was an active member of the Syracuse 1st Ward. He was a high priest and stake missionary. He Kaysville Mortuary. Honorary pallbearers were Paul and Nathan Cowley. Glen Willard Allen nver, Colo, for 23 years and had lived in Layton the past 20 years. HE WAS a veteran of World War and served in three major battles in France. He was a lifelong memI it ber of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 8307, in Layton. He was a member of Gateway Lodge No. 29, F&AM in Clearfield. HE WAS preceded in death by his wife and one daughter. ALLEN Glen Willard Allen, 92, of 1793 Hill Field Road, Layton, died Wednesday, March 20, 1985 in Humana Hospital Davis North of complications from surgery. HE WAS born Oct. 18, 1892 in Louisville, Kan., a son of Frank and Viola Hults Allen. He married Sammie McMillen on Dec. 30, 1920. She died in 1972. HE RETIRED from Hill Air Force Base in 1958 after 27 years of service. He had also been employed by the City of Denver for 10 years. He had worked for the U.S. Bureau of Road for 10 years and worked for the Colorado Highway Department for three years. He was reared and educated in Louisville, Kan. He lived in De musical selections, My Buddy and How Great Thou Art by Harris Adams accompanied by George Rytting; invocation, Ned Christensen; bishops remarks, Paul C. Hatch; speakers, Boyd B. Monsen and Arlene Jones; nediction, George Ronenkamp Jr. Dedication of the grave was by Boyd G. Monsen with interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
