Edith Bennett Bass SHE WAS a member of the Layton 4th LDS Ward. She was a member of the Layton Eagles Auxiliary. Surviving are one son and one daughter, Michael L. Miller, Clearfield; Mrs. Stephen (Joyce) Day, Layton, and five grandchildren. 1903 in Kaysville, a daughter of James E. and Eliza Ellen King Bennett. She married Sidney G. Bass on March 1, 1924 in Salt Lake City. She was a life long resident of Kaysville. She attended the Davis County Schools. SHE WAS a member of the Kaysville 19th LDS Ward where she was a Relief Society Visiting Teacher. Surviving are her husband of Kaysville and one son and two daughters, Don B., Bass, Omaha, Nebraska; Bonnie Kment and Joan Bass, both of Kaysville, nine grandchildren and EDITH BENNETT BESS Funeral services were held Tuesday af noon in the Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary Chapel for Mrs. Edith Marie Bennett Bass, 81, of 522 W. Mutton Hollow Road, Kaysville, who died Thursday, Oct. , 1984 at her home following an extended illness. MRS. BASS was born May 6, 1 1 11 ALSO SURVIVING are one brother and five sisters, Reuben H. Bennett, Kaysville; Mrs. C. O. (Dean) Smith and Mrs. H. J. (Erma) Payne, both of Ogden; Mrs. Lester (Melba) OBrien, Layton; Mrs. Dale (Afton) Elison Kaysville and Mrs. Howard (Luella) Cole, Las Vegas, Nev. Funeral was under the direction of Lindquists Kaysville ALSO SURVIVING are two sisters, Mrs. Erma Bowman, Layton and Norma Rueckert, Woods Cross. Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 11 at the Lindquists Kaysville Chapel with Robert K. Bowman officiating. VERA W. MILLER Mrs. Vera W. Miller, 68, of 301 N. Main, Layton, died Monday, Oct. 8, 1984 in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City of a heart attack. SHE WAS born Jan. 16, 1916 in Kaysville, a daughter of Frank and Ada Belle Jackson Winegar. She married Michael W. Miller in 1940 in San Antonio, were later divorced. SHE WAS employed for 1 7 years on the staff of St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City. She was reared and educated in Paul R. Rardin Paul Robert Rardin, 61, of 91 3 N. 3200 W. , Layton, died Friday, Oct. 12, 1984 in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salt Lake City of heart failure. HE WAS born Nov. 17, 1922 in Ridgeway, Missouri, a son of Paul Reeves and Orpha Mae Toombs Rardin. On July 21, 1945 he married BeDonna M. Keam in Kansas City, Mo. HE GRADUATED from high school in Missouri and attended Weber State College in Ogden. He was reared in Iowa and had traveled with the Air Force. He was an aircraft mechanic and retired as a senior master sergeant with the U.S. Air Force after 30 years of service. HE WAS a veteran of World War Lewis Robins Talbot, infant son Lof-gree-n Talbot of 734 N. Eastside Drive, Layton, died Friday, Oct. 12, 1984 at the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden of complications following a premature birth. HE WAS born Oct. 11, 1984. His parents are members of the Layton East 14th LDS Ward. II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He had been a prisoner of war for two years in Germany. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served as post commander during 1972-7He was a member of the Sergeants 3. Association. BISHOP JOHN R. Gibbs of the Syracuse 1st Ward officiated at funeral services held Saturday, Oct. 13. Family prayer was by Sheldon T. Dahl; prelude and postlude music, Brett E. Dahl; invocation, Verl T. Dahl; flute solo Love At Home by Camille Dahl accompanied by Sheldon T. Dahl. Eulogy was by Devon N. Dahl; musical selection by Devon N. Dahl family, accompanied by Car-m- a J. Dahl; speaker, T. Joseph medley, Lauras Theme, by Sarah Giles; speaker, Rulon Killian; benediction. Gale Rueckert. Dedication of the grave was by Robert K. Bowman with interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery. PALLBEARERS were Michael L. Miller, Stephen Day, Sean Miller, Monty Day, Ron Chesley and Gale Rueckert. Flowers were cared for by Karen Bowman and Bonnie Parker. Its a daughter for Mr. and Mrs. Mark Borski with the arrival of Katie Lynn on Sept. at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful. She weighed 6 lb. 11 oz. Grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Borski, Spokane, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. John Nielson, Bountiful. 1 Hol-lada- Surviving are his widow of Layton, one son, Robert Paul Rardin II, Lawton, Okla.; one daughter, Evelyn Morse, Hooper and four grandchildren. ALSO SURVIVING are one brother and one sister, Marion A. Rardin, Boise, Ida.; Annette B. Carwin, Greeley, Colo. Memorial services were held Saturday, Oct. 13, 1984 in the Lindquist Clearfield Mortuary. SURVIVING are his parents of Layton, one brother, Dayna Lee Talbot, Layton; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Irwin M. Talbot, Layton and Morrill Lofgreen of Ogden.
