Maid of honor was Kristy Roundy with bridesmaids Mrs. Steve Johnson, Mrs. John Harris, Jill Holbrook, Dana Baszczynski and Mrs. Shelton Mitchell. They wore lavender silky gowns with scalloped neckline and sleeves, street length, with wide belt with bows at front. Flowers were lavender orchids and baby breath. MOTHERS WORE lavender crepe de chine, street length, long sleeved dresses. Best man duties were performed by Mark Smoot. Ushers were Brett Wood, Brad Wood and Brad Peterson. The bride has attended USU, Weber State and Davis High. The groom has attended Davis High and Weber State. He filled an LDS Melbourne, Australia Mission. AFTER A honeymoon to Yellowstone, Glacier Parks, Banff and Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada, they are making their home in Bountiful. OCTOBER WILL be the Silver Ages annual bazaar to be held on Saturday, Oct. 27. Plan to do your Christmas shopping early. MR. AND Mrs. Galbraith were married in 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Greetings are extended to all their friends and relatives whom they have shared their lives with. Their love, wisdom and generosity is appreciated by us and our family. MR. GALBRAITH was born in Colonia Diaz, Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of Joseph Bodily and Elna Marie Pierce Galbraith. He moved to Utah with his family at age three. He was one of five children. He was educated in Davis County Schools and attended the University of Utah where he majored in ornathology. His life has been spent as an electrical and mechanical engineer. Through the help of Dr. D. Keith Barnes, he was first employed with Percy Young in Salt Lake City. Bill was always appreciative to Dr. Barnes for his help and confidence. HE WAS later employed as an electrical engineer for Kaysville City for four years while Judge Thomley K. Swan was serving as city mayor. Later Mr. Galbraith served as an ,'t , MR. AND MRS. WILLIAM GALBRAITH She was employed at Davis High School, Clearfield Naval Supply Depot and Hill Air Force Base, retiring in 1964. SHE ENJOYS the role of homemaking, gardening and loves all animals, especially feeding and caring for cats and beautiful birds. They have resided in their home the past 47 years. They have traveled extensively, visiting the countries of Taiwan, Hong Kong. Japan, Korea, England and to Scotland twice. LDS Church and enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, all sports and gardening. THEY SPENT time in Canada and on the Alaskan border and have traveled throughout the U.S as well. They feel their wealth is their wonderful and caring neighbors and friends. MRS. GALBRAITH was born in Salt Lake City. Her parents were Hemming C. and Lillian Hooper Mortensen. She was one of five children. She graduated from the LDS High School, was one of the last graduating class of that school. When she was 16 years of age the family moved to Kaysville. THEY HAVE three sons, Joel Galbraith, Brigham City employed with Thiokol; twins, Lynn Galbraith, who is in Germany as a Chaplain in the U.S. Air Force and Lane who resides in California and is a pilot with United Airlines. They have 12 grandchildren and three np n, Lucille Stock Exhibits LAYTON - A good selection of the paintings of Layton artist, Mrs. Lucille Stock are on exhibit during MRS. STOCK, one of the areas best known artists, has been painting for many years. Her works of MR. AND MRS. SCOTT G. WOOD art are displayed in many schools, homes and businesses. She has exhibited in many places including the Malls of Salt Lake, Ogden, Layton and Logan, ZCMI in Salt Lake and Ogden, and the Humana Davis North Hospital. For the past 1 8 years, Mrs. Stock has taught art. Besides teaching from her home studio, she has given classes in Ogden, Wyoming, Idaho and North Dakota. She will be starting classes in her home the end of September. MOST OF Mrs. Stocks paintings are done in oils. She does some painting using pastels and watercolors. Landscapes have be. come Mrs. Stocks trademark although she has developed beautiful techniques in the areas of portraits and still lifes. Mrs. Stock is a member of the Intermountain Artists of Salt Lake City, the Ogden Palette Club and the Western Art Guild. For many years she was the chairman of the Layton Riata Days Art Show. She also worked as art chairman for the Davis County Fair. Sept. 17 there will be a new Growing Younger class starting at p.m. at the Silver Age Center. Hulse in a garden ceremony on Thursday at the home of the bridegrooms parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roger C. A wedding breakfast at the home of the bride's parents in Kaysville honored the couple and that evening they greeted guests at a reception at the Hawkes home. FOR HER wedding and reception the bride wore a gown styled with a lace bodice, scalloped neckline accented with appliqued lace and seeded pearls, long full sleeves and a pleated full skirt. Her fingertip veil of matching silk fell softly and was edged in matching lace trim. The bridal bouquet was made up of shades of pink and white roses, BEST MAN duties were performed by Damon Dryer.
