Mr. and Mrs. Richard Waite and children traveled to Durango, Colo, where they enjoyed a week vacation with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Gene Ilwll. Overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. Glenn Austin were her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Martin of Boise, Ida. Mr. and Mrs. Ike Swan of Pocatello, Ida. recently visited with his parents Judge and Mrs. Thornley K. Swan. He came to attend his Davis High School class reunion. Mrs. Leone Gardner had the misfortune of falling and injuring her knee. She is convalescing at her home. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hovey and family of Kaysville and her sister Dr. and Mrs. and brother-in-laBruce Howard and family of Layton vacationed at the Black Hills of South Dakota and also with an aunt and family, Mrs. Bonnie LDS Missionaries ' J1 ELDER HOLBROOK, Elder Russell Holbrook has been called to serve an LDS mission in the Thailand-Bangko- k field and will be honored on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. at the Farmington 8th Ward Sacrament meeting. The chapel is located at Highway 89 and Shepard Lane. HE IS the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben F. Holbrook who reside at 93 Northridge Rd., Farmington. Elder Holbrook was a member of the graduating class of 1983, from Davis High School and also graduated from the seminary program. This past year he has been a student at Brigham Young University at Provo, vsb JAELYNNE HAMBLIN NATHAN LYNN NIEDERHAUSER RICK WAITE JR. Jaelynne Hamblin, daughter of Jay and Maxine Hamblin has Receive Eagles accepted a mission call to serve in the Arequipa Peru LDS Mission. PRIOR TO her entering the Mission Training Center on Sept. 6, she will speak Sunday, Aug. 26 in the Kaysville 11th Ward Sacrament meeting, 900 S. Main, Kaysville, at 10:15 a.m. Jaelynne is a graduate of Davis High School and Kaysville Seminary. She is a senior at Weber State College and an employee at Harrys Thriftway. FRIENDS, relatives and ward members are invited to wish her well at her home following Sacrament meeting. Richard B. (Rick) Waite Jr. among the latest recipients to receive his Eagle Scout Award. He is the son of Richard B. and Lou Anna H. Waite of 1252 Newport is Lane, Kaysville. THE' AWARD was presented to Rick during a special Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Sunday evening, Aug. 12 in the Crestwood LDS Chapel. Rick is the son of Richard B. and Lou Anna H. Waite of 1252 Newport Lane, Kaysville. 1273 Newport Lane, Kaysville, was awarded his Eagle Scout Badge from Troop 341 of the Francis Peak District during a special Eagle Court of Honor Sunday evening, Aug. 12 at the Crestwood Chapel. NATE WILL currently be entering the 9th grade at Kaysville Junior High this fall. He was on the high honor roll as a 7th and 8th grader. As an 8th grader he received an excellent rating in conversation in Spanish at Foreign Language Day at BYU. He received the Cub Arrow of Light and the LDS Faith in God Award. He has been patrol leader and senior patrol leader of Troop 341. He has served as president of the Deacons Quorum of the Kaysville 10th Ward. tu Kaysville Mrs. Marilyn Bennett, Kaysville, Mrs. Ann Pearson, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hamblin, Farmington, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Pearson, HE WILL be a sophomore at Davis High School this fall. He has lived in Provo, Big Springs, Tex., Layton, Orem, Price and Clearfield before moving to Kaysville five years ago. He attended the Westmore School in Orem, Durrant Elementary in Price and Pioneer Elementary in Clearfield before entering Kaysville Jr. High. DURING HIS eighth grade year he won first place in the science fair and was entered in the regional science fair at Weber State College. He was a Cub Scout and was awarded the Arrow of Light Rank. He has been a patrol leader and senior patrol leader of Troop 341 and Deacons Quorum President. He was awarded the Faith in God award as a Cub. RICK IS presently the Varsity Team Captain of Team 341 and is president of the Teachers Quorum. He has an avid interest in models, video productions, mechanics, electricity and electronics, np Taylorsville; Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Thayne, Orem, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Morgan, Layton were guests for a family gathering in Duchesne over the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Bailey. Mrs. Morjorie Dinger is convalescing after recently undergoing major knee surgery at the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cullimore, Kaysville, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Hess, Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Clain Archibald, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Carter of Garland were guests Saturday evening in Ogden at a patio dinner party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dell Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Rogers, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Williams, Mrs. Wanda Wood and Mrs. Lela Hess spent Ced-ar- y Wednesday and Thursday in City where they enjoyed the DALLAN ROBERT HANSEN Happy birthday Dalian Robert Hansen, son of Kerry and Mary Ann Hansen of Clearfield celebrated a big first birthday Sunday. Six girls received their Young Womanhood Recognition Award on Sunday, Aug. 19 in the Kaysville 13th LDS Ward. Mr. and Mrs. John Naegle and family recently returned from vacationing in Colorado. They spent time at Glenwood Springs. Colorado Springs and also visited with relatives, Bill and Lois Bush, Ken and Wendy Beck at Bayfield, Colo. A son, Royce Allan was born on Aug. 2 to Mr. and Mrs. Kenyon Bitter of Clinton. He arrived at the Humana Davis North Hospital and is their fourth child. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bitter, Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wayment of Hast Layton. He is the 45th grandchild for Mr. and Mrs. Bitter. Visitors of Mrs. Goldie Ball were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Seegmiller of Ogden, Mrs. Seegmiller is a sister of Mrs. Ball.
