Layton and Betty Ott entertained the 23rd Ward high priests and partners at a social in their home. Layton is the High Priest group leader with Leland Frost and Joe Wilson as counselors, and George Talbot as secretary. The group enjoyed a potato bar, raw vegetables and homemade pies followed by a special program arranged by Leland and Ruth Philippines where they visited the temple. From there they went to Sandakan, Sabah in Borneo, then the island of Bali. Next to Jakarta and to Singapore. From Singapore they flew to Bangkok, Thailand and spent four days; then flew to Tokyo, Japan and back home. They were gone 19 days. Mr. and Mrs. Stephen L. Graves, 852 E. Shannon Road, are announcing the birth of Christina daughter of Dwight D. and Jennifer Graves Hammargren on Jo-An- three weeks traveling in their motor home, visiting friends and relatives between Kaysville and Camp Pendleton, Calif, where they camped on the beach. While in California they went to Sea World and Animal Kingdom with Harold and Melba Stevenson who were in California visiting their two sons and their families. On the way home Ann and Dwain stopped to visit Ralph and Iris Hafen in Cedar City. Ann just got news her Roland Oldroid brother-in-la- w from Orem passed away. The funeral was on Friday. A program of romantic songs and poetry was presented by Bonnie Johnson and Pat Williams, mother and daughter. The accompanist was Lori Rose. Assisting hostesses were Marcia Mansell and Ruth Linford. The Orchid Club was held at the home of Darlene Kettenring with Ludean Sheffield and JoAnn Johnson as Joan Sprague talked about Hong Kong, where she and her husband served an LDS mission. The Lakeview Circle Neighborhood Club was held at the Silver Age Center with Leone Gardner Heights passed away on Monday. She has suffered the last year from Lou Gehrig's disease. The Kaysville 10th Ward Relief Society celebrated the Relief Society's birthday party in conjunction with their own ward's 2()th birthday. A special program followed dinner. All past general presidents of the Relief Society were honored. and Mary Timothy as A 36 vocal quartet consisting of LaVonne Cooper, Jean Ernstrom, Ann Shunn, Lauren Varney by Kadell accompanied sang two numbers, With Love, and Richard-se- n To Serve Sisters of Zion. Janiece Cooper gave a history of the 10th Ward, along with honoring past Relief Society presidents of the ward which included Tibby Simmons, Afton McCormick, Evelyn Cole, Gloria Wright, Heloise Hamilton, Janice Heaps, Beverly Timmons, Lee Holman, Marilyn Albiston and Laurel Barlow. Shirley Murdock gave the life sketch of Eliza R. Snow, followed by Janet Oslter of Clearfield singing O My Father. The program ended with a talk on the theme Woman - A Divine Dedication by Arvil Walker. Marge Green is the current Relief Society president. Mary Schofield spent ten days visiting in Fillmore with her niece Mrs. Oleve Robison. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Buhlerand Mr. and Mrs. James H. Duckworth have returned from a trip to Southeast Asia. They went to Hong Kong for two days, then took the cruise ship Golden Odyssey on to Canton, China, then to Manila, -- 23. She weighed 8 lb. 13 oz. inches long. She has a O 2214 brother, William Patrick. Sue Nishijima and Patti Graves hosted a shower for the new mother. Attending were Lois R. Graves, Marie Lockett, Marge Clements, Gertrude Peterson, Hillie Pischel, Marge Winkle, Joan Nicholson, Pat Burnham, Chris Pacanovssky, Candace Bull, Virginia Parmalee, Maggie Biitner, Kathy Barlow, Kay Robison and Jeanette Taylor.
