Highway 89, Layton were held Monday, Dec. 6 in the Layton 20th Ward Chapel with Bishop John T. Bushman conducting the services. MR. CLARK was bom July 16, 1922 in Cedarview, Utah. He died Thursday, Dec. 2. He was the son of Leo and Addie Fern Timothy Clark. Funeral services were held last Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Lindquist Mortuary Chapel for Mrs. Maggie Morton Birch, 58 years of age. On July 15, 1942 he married K. Green in Union, Utah. SHE RESIDED at 1101 South 300 West Syracuse. She Virgie Layton. She was born October 11. 1918 in Kaysville. She was the daughter of Sterling and Ivie Isabel! Smith Morton. MR. CLARK graduated from Jordan High School. He had resided in Layton for 31 years. He was a retired sheet metal inspector, an Air Force Veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion Post No. 89. For seven years, he was a member of the Davis County Sheriffs passed away following a lengthy illness, at the Davis North Medical Center, in MAGGIE BIRCH SHE WAS married to Ross A. Birch, on October 11, 1937 an active member of the Syracuse First LDS Ward. SURVIVING are her husband, and one son, Robert S. Birch, both of Syracuse. Also two three grandchildren; brothers and one sister; John Morton of Posse. At the time of his death, he was a member of the Layton 20th LDS Ward. SURVIVING are his widow, Virgie K. Green Clark of Westover Funeral Services Are Held in Deweyville. Mrs. Birch has resided in Kaysville, Layton and Clearfield, before moving to Syracuse. Steed conducted the ser- t, She was born Sept. 21, 1921 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of George V. and Zilpha L. Stephensen Larsen. Layton; four sons and one daughter, Dahl L. Jr., Baltimore, Md.; Kent D., Brigham City; Russell W., Denver, Colo.; Timothy A., Clearfield and Karen Clark Hansen of Redmond, Wash. He had seven grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters also survive him. They are Dave Clark, Salt Lake Kenneth Clark, City; Holladay; Gene V. Clark, Layton; Mrs. Donna Kalakis, Murray and Mrs. Merlyn Stone, Pleasant View. was in the Cemetery, INTERMENT Kaysville-Layto- n dmg vices. ON DEC. 18, 1953 she was married to William L. Westover in the Salt Lake LDS THE INVOCATION was given by Bryan Morton, a I Often Go vocal duet, Walking, by Mrs. Joyce Wilcox, and Mrs. Yvonne Knighton. The life sketch of Mrs. Mortons life was given Morton; the by Bonnie speaker was Milton Wilcox, with remarks being given by Bishop Grant M. Steed. Since their marriage she and her husband had resided in Clearfield. SURVIVING are her husband of Clearfield and one David Dabling, of Colorado Springs, Colo, and two grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother Don S. Kaysville Conference Scheduled The Kaysville LDS East Stake Quarterly Conference will be held Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 11 and 12 at the Stake Center. The Saturday evening meeting at 6 p.m. is for all Stake and Ward officers and teachers and spouses. There will be two general sessions held on Sunday, Dec. 12. The first session to begin at 8:30 a.m. and the second session at 11 a.m. These sessions are open to all members and interested members. preside.
