Show 7i WEEKLY REFLEX-DAV- NEWS JOURNAL, MARCH 11, 197S IS fUl ILfl Students from Layton High waited their turn through a council meeting Thursday night to voice their concern and resentment of a beer survey conducted at their school. They stated that the survey was incorrect and the publicity given it had given the school a bad name. A TEACHER, with the students, LaRue Kimber, charged that the survey was misrepresented, that it had ho accompanying letter explaining its purpose, and that the students took it lightly, most of them making facetious answers. She stated that the teachers and the students resented the implications made on the school and the damage that this survey had done to the good name of the school. She said that Layton High had now been accused of being the worst school in Davis County MAYOR SHIELDS immediately pointed out that the survey was not an official action of the Layton Council, but that councilman Austad had acted on his own without the councils approval. Mayor Shields also continued to say that the council wants to know TEAM The dance team of Bobby Burgess and Cissy King, from the Lawrence Welk Show, will be featured at the Family Night to Remember March 27.
