If yonr dog lives in his own private house, it should be cleaned frequently to protect him against the spread of diseases and parasitea which are harbored by nooks such aa dog kennels. A disinfectant solution made of household lye 1 can of 1ft to 10 gallons of water does an excellent job of killing roundworm eggs, flee larvae, distemper virus, and many other gorms which can harm your dog. Plans are now underway to replace the old building with a new modern station. I don't like to work inside all the time, and I do like to meet people, were the reasons Bruce gave for choosing the service station business. He picked Kaysville "because I like a small city with the friendly people who live in them." Writin and ridin are his hobbies. Bruce has been riding in bareback and bull events at rodeos since he was 14 years old, the age when he began two years of traveling with Western Rodeo Company throughout Utah and Idaho. "I broke a lot of colts and got the riding bug, so I started competing at rodeos. I used to do much better than now, guess Im getting too old. "Rodeo is just like any other sport, except that it is much cleaner. No opportunity to bribe a horse and rider helps rider jwho he is competing with for money. Bruce rides in the summer and writes during the cold months. Mostly he likes to write short stories. His only reward thus far, however, from creative writing has been a scholarship at Weber College. One of the reasons Bruce has probably been a successful businessman is his determination in going after the things he wants. For instance, he had already married and was raising two children when he completed his final two years of high school. That meant a full time job after school hours. When he graduated at Ben Lomond High school in Ogden he was presented with the Thom McCann award, given to the boy and girl chosen by the faculty as the ones most likely to succeed.
