The Explorers of the Kaysville Third LDS Ward were accompanied on a week camp trip to Lake Powell by leaders 376-875- 1 Attorney and Mrs Jim Hardy of Chicago, Illinois were visitors last week of Mr. Ed Hyde and family. Mrs. Janice Davis received word recently from Japan of the arrival of a new grandson born to Mr. and Mrs. Kim Cranney. It is the first grandchild for Mrs. Davis. Guests of Mr. and Mrs Melvin Heath on Sunday evening were Mr. and Mrs Earl Schope and three children of Quincy, Washington, a cousin; Mrs. Dasize Allred and her two daughters, Dwight Pincock, Charles Hammond and Bishop Paul Barker. Mrs. Walter Reese and daughter Mrs. Diane Kimose and children of Kaysville, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Call and family of Bountiful, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wilkins ot Salt Lake City all attended the John Lee Robinson family reunion held recently at Yosemite National Park. Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hyde were her mother Mrs. Helen Crawford and her sister Mrs. Dena Novotny and children of Rock Springs, Wyo. Kevin Heath of Ogden hosted his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Heath to dinner at the Heidelberg Restaurant in Farmington on August 16 for his mothers birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Rolfe Andrus of Orem were weekend visitors at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Williams and Mrs. Nipper. Mrs. Allred is an aunt of Mr. Heath and also his brother and sister-in-laMr. and Mrs 11a Roland Heath of Bountiful. Also a nephew, Mr. and Mrs. John Heath, Bountiful, Mrs. Karen Ereco and four children of San Jose, Calif.; and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Murray of Wellsville. They enjoyed a family reunion. Recent visitors of Mrs. Rebecca Ashbaker were her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robbins and daughter Mary Beth of Norwalk, Ohio. It was a surprise visit for one week and Mrs. Ashbaker was very happy to have them with her for the short visit. They also visited with Mrs. Roy Green during their stay in Kaysville. Mrs. Green is a grandmother of Bowman. Miss Dana Keats Lenhart will return to her home in Seattle, Washington this week after spending the past three weeks in Kaysville with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernell Swanger. Paul Homer has returned to his home at Whittier, California after visiting the past week with his daughter and her family, Lt. Col. (Ret) and Mrs. Robbins. Neal Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Neal Smith has received his mission call to LDS Mission serve a Misto the Oklahoma-Tuls- a sion. He will enter the Mission Home in Salt Lake City on October 8. He is a member of the Kaysville Ninth LDS Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Thomas-se- n and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. Leon Heaps. Bishop Rodney Felt, Mr. H. and Mrs. William Umpleby, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Smith and families two-ye- a canyon outing Monday in the South Fork of Ogden Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. William T. Bingham are happy to have enjoyed their three grandchildren, Tyler, Lisa and John of Clinton visiting Bingham with them for three days while their parents are out of town. They are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Russell W. Buhler entertained at a family patio dinner party at their home Friday evening in honor of their daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Mason who are visiting from Portland, Oregon while enroute to Pennsylvania to make their home, where Mr. James Pettmgill and children enjoyed visiting the Lehman Caves in Nevada last week. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bowman accompanied Mr. and Mrs. R.A.F. McCormick to Nauvoo, Illinois where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Platt for one week and attended the beautiful musical pageant, City of Joseph. Mr. and Mrs. Platt are serving on a LDS Mission at Nauvoo and are friends of son-in-la- Mason will attend Penn State the next year. Guests were Mrs Vulma Buhler, Bountiful, Mr and Mrs. Tom Hughes and children, Ucon, Idaho, Mr and Mrs Dean Buhler and Mr. and family, Logan, Mrs. Steven Thatcher and sun Jake of Sait Lake City; and Mark and Don Buhler of Kaysville Douglas and Gregory Giles have returned to their home in San Antonio, Texas after spending the summer months in Kaysville with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Horne on the farm, which was a real treat for the boy s. Their parents have just recently moved to Texas after a tour of duty in England Mr. and Mrs Ted Birch recently entertained at a birthday family dinner in honor of their twin sons, Brian and Brandon who celebrated their first Mr. and Mrs Ed Hyde spent last weekend at Sherwood Hills where they attended Mr. Hyde's BURTON PTA OFFICERS high school reunion He was a graduate of Ogden High School. ora Workers Involved In Study Hill AFB A draft Environmental Impact Statement entitled "MX: Buried Trench Construction and Test Project was filed today with the council on enby the United States Air Force. vironmental quality THE project is proposed for the Luke Air Force Range in Yuma county, Arizona to oc- cur between February and September 1978. The trench project is a part of the validation phase for development of alternative basin modes for a proposed Intercontinental Missile (1CBM) Ballistic System known as MX. It will involve construction of protective structure sections to validate cost, construction rates and missile launch breakout capability. THE OGDEN Air Logistics Center at Hill AFB manages the MX program for the Air Force. Nine persons with the Materiel Management Direc- torate at Hill AFB are in- its missile, package, guidance transportation handling, facilities and depot support equipment. Copies of the statement have been sent to a number of state and federal agencies for their comments. In addition, groups and private citizens are invited to comment. These comments will then be used by the Air Force in developing a final Environ- equipment shakedown and a missile breakout test bed: and a 20,000 fpot section providing cost and construction rate dataT' price to suit you THE proposed project will occur in an essentially undisturbed area of the Sonoran Desert in the San Cristobal Valley.
