The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Kirkpatrick is now at home after being confined to the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful where she was confined for treatment the past week. Leon Robins is confined to the Davis North Hospital where he is undergoing treatment the past week. Mrs. Leo Hill of Layton and Mrs. Margaret Bachman of Ogden were Wednesday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stuart. Myrtle Larkins who has been confined to the Davis North Medical Center undergoing treatment has now returned home. Clyde and Evelyn Lundberg have returned from a three-mont- h vacation trip. They visited at Rodeo, Calif, with her sister and brother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Fred Bremmer and then went on to visit their son, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Lundberg and family at Carmel, where they were Thanksgiving guests. They 1 KATHRYN WOOD was approved by the council to be the replacement for Sherry Harris who is leaving. Mrs. Wood will assume her duties as the city secretary. The conservation of water was discussed and the city engineer was to meet and give suggestions of how water could be conserved. The Weber Basin is cutting the supply of water to the city by 40 percent which will result in an increase of cost. The needed increased rates will be approximately 30 W. percent which will increase the sum of $3.65 to $6.00 an increase of $3.00. BEFORE SUCH increase can be levied a public hearing will be scheduled and the matter discussed, with the possibility of a city ordinance change, which change takes a total of 45 days. The council discussed the possibility of crossing guards in sections of the city where they are needed. It is hoped that something could be worked out with Clearfield City in the area of Doxey School, vw spent time on the Colorado River and at Lake Meade and then drove on to Tempe, Ariz. where they spent Christmas with their daughter Shirley and her husband Jim Urry and family. After the holidays they spent time camping in other areas of Arizona and then more time on the Colorado River and Lake Meade before returning home. Austin, and also visited with his sister, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Ashby and family at Orem. Miss Manning will serve an 18 month LDS Mission to New Zealand. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Manning of Far- and the granddaughter of Mrs. Chloe Slade. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Wright spent last week in Denver, Colo, on a business trip. mington Mrs. Steven Adams (the former Lynette Knowles of Kaysville) daughter Alisa of Wisconsin Madison, arrived to spend three weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ariel Knowles, and family. She came to see her brother Elder Steven Knowles who arrived home Wednesday, Feb. 16 from serving a two year LDS Mission in Gera.-.- d Mrs. Elsie Heaton was a guest in Provo of her son and his family, Dr. and Mrs. Howard Heaton where they celebrated four of the families birthday anniversaries. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hart and daughter Deena spent the weekend at Bear Lake.
