GAYLE IS 17 years old and was bom in Ogden. She is the second child in the family of three girls and one boy. She is the daughter of Glen and Leah Foutz and has lived in Clear-field all of her life. She has been active in her church holding positions in the primary. Mike was born in Salt Lake City 18 years ago in November. HE MOVED with his family of six to Syracuse where they have resided since that time. He has been active in the seminary program since his ninth grade year and served on the council as vice president and has been head zone leader. Her mother died when she was 14 and her father remarried. SHE HAS two brothers and five sisters. They lived in Ogden until recently when they moved to Sunset. Mrs. Donald Kettenring spent a week in Bountiful with her daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Johnson to welcome the new grandson bom on September 14. The new mother is the former Terry Lynn Kettenring. It is the first grandchild for Mr. and Mrs. Kettenring. Mayor and Mrs. Glen W. Cundall enjoyed a surprise son-in-la- visit from his sister and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carlson of Kewanee, 111. who arrived to spend the brother-in-la- weekend with them. They were en route to California and it has been 15 years since Mr. Cundall and his sister have seen each other, so it was a very special event. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Harris returned home from a 17 day vacation trio visiting relatives in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Alder and children Andrea and Ryan spent the holiday weekend at Panguitch Lake and Cedar Breaks. Mr. and Mrs. John Cook are vacationing in Chicago, 111. their daughter and son- -' Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Taucher. Mr. Taucher is attending the University there. with Mr. and Mrs. David E. Benton II and infant daughter Amy of Phoenix, Ariz. flew to Idaho Falls, Idaho to visit with their parents Mr. and Mrs. David E. Benton. Enroute home they stopped over in Salt Lake City to make a visit with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Benton. Heather was the name given to the daughter of Richard K. and Faye Nielsen on Sunday, Sept. 26. Heathers father blessed her during the Kaysville Eighth Ward Sacrament meeting. Following the meeting, Mr. and Mrs. Nielsen were hosts of a dinner held in their home. Those in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Erickson and three sons of Pocatello, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Verlie Gunnell and son Jeff of Preston, Idaho; Mrs. Goldie Broadstone, Mr. and Mrs. David Nielsen and son Clair, Mrs. and Mr. Jacob Fuhriman, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Fuhriman and five children, all of Providence; Mr. and Mrs. Neil Fuhriman and their two sons of Logan; Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Nielsen and two boys of Kaysville; Mrs. Frank and Mr. Fuhriman and their five children of Farmington and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Nielsen of Bountiful. Recently returning from a vacation trip for eight days were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kirby and daughter Annette and son Paul. They enjoyed a stay at San Diego area and visited interesting places there as well as throughout Southern California. Saturday overnight guests of Mrs. Sarah Giles were Mr. and Mrs. Burton Huffaker of Vale, Ore. Glen Earl of Moses Lake, Wash, was also a visitor of Mrs. Giles during the week. He was a mission com- panion who served on the same mission as the Giles. Fred Kirby spent last week at St. Louis, Mo. on a government business trip. Mrs. Sarah Giles hosted a luncheon Thursday in honor Mrs. of her daughter-in-laSharon Giles. Those attending were Mrs. Sharon Giles three children and Mrs. Glenda Giles. Mrs. Iris Umpleby, Mrs. Janet Furgeson and Mrs. Seela Jensen entertained at a family bridal shower Saturday evening in Sunset at the home of Mrs. Lois Jensen honoring Miss Raynette Jensen a neice. Raynette is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Jensen former Kaysville resident. Patty Porter is convalescing at home after recently undergoing surgery. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Porter. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hadfield and daughter Holly returned from a vacation trip to Panguitch, Las Vegas, Nev.; Escondido, San Deigo, Calif, visiting with friends enroute and also spending time visiting points of interest.
