The royalty was chosen on their horsemanship ability, poise, personality and speaking ability. their They displayed horsemanship on the rodeo grounds at Davis Downs at Lagoon in Farmington and then were judged on their personality and poise, speaking ability as they met with the judges for a luncheon at the Gaslight Restaurant at Lagoon. Taylor of Bountiful. She is president of the Utah Junior Quarter Horse Association and is a leader of a horsemanship club in Bountiful. She too, likes to ski and lists most outdoor sports as her hobbies.
