They enjoyed sightseeing at Mexico City, Yucatan, Tasco and Acapulco. They accompanied the Wilford Hales tour of Ogden group. Mr. and Mrs. Lane Jones and family recently spent a week in Sacramento, Calif. Dr. and Mrs. Knute Barnes of Pullman Wash, arrived to attend his 30 year class reunion of Davis High School held last weekend. While here they were guests of his father H.J. Barnes and his brother Jim Barnes. They also visited his aunt and uncle, Dr. and Mrs. D. Keith Barnes and other relatives and friends during their stay. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones of Sacramento, Calif, visited with his mother Mrs. Maud Jones and with Mr. and Mrs. Lane Jones and family. Mr. and Mrs George Sheffield and family spent a few days at Bear Lake over the holiday weekend. House guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Purdy and family are their son Mr. and Mrs Roger Purdy of Tigard, Ore. They are also staying with her parents Mr. and Mr. Alton Van Ausdal and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Purdy and family oi 5?.n Jose, Calif, are visiting with er mother Mrs. Lois Stephens for one week and also with their daughter and family Mr. and Mrs. Alan D. Yeaman to welcome the new grandson bom June 27. Jeffrey Purdy who is attending the Brigham Young University at Provo visited Saturday and Sunday with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Jim Purdy. The Purdy's will also visit with his brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Purdy and with his mother in Centerville, Mrs. Thelma Purdy. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Christensen and children Kelli, Valori and Brian spent a weeks vacation in the Los Angeles, Calif, area including a fun time at Disneyland. Dr. and Mrs. Clyde Marx and children have returned from a week in Calif, and enroute home attended the American Optometric Association Convention at Las Vegas, Nevada where Dr. Marx won the stiff competition and was elected as National Trustee on the Board of Directors for a two year term. This was a great honor to him as there were over 5,000 in attendance. We say congratulations to our local doctor. Neil Smith and Lynn Ward have returned from a vacation trip for one week to Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Max Ward and family attended the funeral service of their sister-in-laMrs. Lois Ward that was held Friday at Idaho Falls, Ida. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Pace and children, Mrs. Maud Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Lane Jones and family spent Thursday in Provo. Susan, Leslie and Vickie Jones of Sunset spent Sunday with their grandmother Mrs. Frank Jones. Lisas guests were 20 g.rls from the Kaysville Tenth LDS Ward who have formed the Merrie Miss Marching group and are called the Missettes. The group performed in the production at Davis High School, My Country Tis Of Thee held Tuesday evening June 29. Mrs. Clyde Warner of Ogden spent two days with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sides. While she was in Kaysville they visited in Kearns with Mrs. Sides, twin sister Mrs. Maxine Glasgow. Mr. and Mrs. Sides, daughter, Vickie Sides, who is serving an 18 month LDS mission to Roanoke, Va., called her father on fathers day which was a special treat for him as well as the family. Vickiejs doing well and enjoying her missionary work. Mr. and Mrs. R.A.F. McCormick, Mr. and Mrs. Verl A. Walker, Mr. and Mrs. A1 Miller of Kaysvile, Mr. and Mrs. Farlin Murri of Boise, Ida. have returned from a 10 day trip to Canada. They visited Victoria and Vancouver British Columbia as well as Japer, Banaff and Lake Louise National Parks. The men enjoyed salmon fishing at Campbell River in Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Murri are moving from Boise, Ida. to Kaysville to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hughs and children of Pocatello, Ida. are visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell W. Buhler and family and also with his parents in Farming-ton- . Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sides attended a family reunion on July 4 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stan Hadden in Roy for the Clyde Warner family. Sixty guests attended. While here they will bt visiting with his mother, Mrs Gretta Butcher in Layton anc with his sister and brother Mr. and Mrs. Bei Whitesides in Farmingtoi and with his brothr and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bill in-la- Bone in Kaysville. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bone en- tertained at dinner Tuesday evening in their honor. While they were in this area they attended a family reunion at Bay View Park in Layton where 75 members attended. Mr. and R.A.F. Mrs. McCormick entertained at a family patio dinner on July 4 at their home. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ron McCormick and daughter Emily, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bone and two sons Brent and Chris, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Wilhelmsen and daughter Kari all of Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Roland Barker and children Tami and Brad of Brigham City; Mrs. Laura Elkins, Miss Evelyn Elkins and Douglas Elkins all of Salt Lake City.
