A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Don Keyes of Ogden on April 20. Another girl was bom to Mr. and Mrs. Dale Davis in Seat- Bruce G. and Roberta Morris Orchards new son arrived on April 18. Dr. and Mrs. ODell Cutler have two new grandchildren. Ellen has had a busy time the past month. She went to Provo to be with the Cutlers daughter Karen when Karen and her husband Clarke Bradford Rice welcomed a new baby boy into the family on March 19. He will be tle. Members of the Sandridge Camp of DUP attending a convention at Valley Music Hall last Saturday morning were Captain Norma Earl, Ruth Larsen, Luella Carver and Kathryn Brady, who is also a member of the county named Bradford Clarke. Then on to Loveland, Colo, for the arrival of a new daughter to the former Annette Cutler and her husband J.R. Seaver, born on April 9. She will be called Brooke. The Seavers have another daughter Jill. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William Seaver of board. Those attending from the Sunset Camp were Captain Pearl Dabel and Mildred Porter. The convention included members of North Central, North, South and South Central Camps. The Marino Ganzs were among 20 family members at a gathering hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Pierce in Marriot last Saturday. The gathering had been planned for the week earlier but postponed on account of the Clearfield. Ronald W. and Helen Allen Ray have a son born on April 21. and Randall Koster Zauu on April Rebecca have a son born 21. Another grandchild for Bob Koster, weather. Mr. and Mrs. Gerold Dalton, their daughters Alene and Cami, grandson Jerry Thornton, son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Wayne Dalton drove down to Jerico last Saturday to show the youngsters how sheep are sheared. After that adventure they spent the rest of the day enjoying the sand dunes of the area. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Jorgensen have returned from Apache Junction where they spent the winter. The Elvin Morrells have returned from a spring vacation which took them to the northern California area. The Kenneth Rocks took a four day trip to Phoenix, Ariz. recently to visit with their daughter Janet and John Erickson. John is attending school in Phoenix. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Anderson spent four days last w son-in-la- week in Des Moines, Iowa attending an American Industrial Arts Convention. There were representatives from all the states including Hawaii and Canada there. Planned social activities were enjoyed by the wives in the group. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Call have returned from a ten day spring break in San Bruno, Calif, visiting with their daughter and Grant and Harne Hammon and their children Mark and Ann. They enjoyed sightseeing practically every day they were in the area. Kathleen Popham was released as Junior Sunday School organist in the Second Ward, Michell Kendall sustained. Charles Mitchell was sustained a cubmaster in the son-in-la- w Seventh Ward. Mark Hirschi, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Hirschi, Scott Henrie, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Henrie, Mike Heinz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Buck Heinz and Lee Stephens, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen 1. Stephens recieved their Duty to God awards on Sunday evening at the Sunset LDS 7th Ward. Mr. Jarmen went to the U of U after High School; after he graduated he went into the Marine Corps for three and a half years. HE TAUGHT for two years at Davis while he was getting his masters at the U of U. After receiving his Masters Mr. Jarmen was a counselor at Centerville Jr. High for three years, a counselor at Woods Cross for one year and finally a counselor at Davis where he has been for the past three years. 1 really like counseling. I likebeingwith. thesameclass sophomore through senior, its the best experience and I really get to know the students. MIKE JARMEN married Beth Smith from Centerville 14 years ago. They have two children, a boy 10 years old and a girl 9 years old. Beth Jarmen is a state legislator and is in the process of finishing her PHD at the U of U. When asked how about Davis, Mr. stated, Well, 1 think excellent school. Mr. he felt Jarmen it is an Steven- son's leadership is the best you can find, a solid faculty, and the studentbody is mostly interested in education. It is a nice place to work. maintain can 1 hope this 1 at- mosphere. MR. PURDY grew up with two brothers and a sister in Bountiful. He is a former student of Davis and was a football and track star. On the football scholarship he went to the U of U where he majored in Marketing and obtained a masters in Educational Administration. AFTER Spectacular Savings! They now have three boys and a girl, all of which attended Davis and par- ticipated in its activities.
