The parents and families, scouts and scouters all enjoyed a roast beef dinner with the theme being, A Scouts Heart Is In America. THE EVENING charged for the impounded animals. He stated that Salt Lake County charges a $15 impound fee, and a $3 fee for each day 'the animal is housed in the county owned complex. AS IT now stands Davis County charges a $3 impound fee, and a $1 per day housing charge. The difference is that if your dog was impounded in Salt Lake County and left for two days it would cost $21 to get the dog back. In Davis County it would cost $5. At this rate the county animal control program can in no way be a self supporting program. MR. EVANS noted that various cities around the area, Ogden, Roy and Salt Lake all charge a $10 impound fee and a $2 a day housing charge. Recently the Davis High School symphonic orchestra, mder the direction of Richard iflarsden, instructor, held a ps concert to raise funds or them to go to Portland, Ire. and enter the Northwes-)erStates Orchestra Festival n n April 13. Kaysville-Farmingto- n MR. MARSDEN said the students were very understanding when he told them of the circumstances and they elected to donate $250 of their funds to the Davis High Band for their trip to be made possible. Mr. Marsden said it takes a big heart to do this and these are the kind of students he has. They deserve a big thank you from all the band as well as all the community to forfeit their trip money so that the band can benefit from it. np They say that love is blind.
