RUTH ROBERT, prominent American composer and author of this original musical arrived by plane Tuesday from New the production which was presented by the Kaysville, Utah LDS Stake Aaronic Priesthood and Young Womens organization, with a cast of 150 members of the stake. Vivacious and charming Miss Roberts was delighted with the production stating, it was most inspiring, the orchestra sensational, a splendid chorus. Their lyrics came out so well and blended beautifully, graceful dancers and attractive costumes of the era and the scenery was great. She was astounded at the musical passages played by a high school orchestra, they play so professionally, she stated. PRODUCTION THIS received a standing ovation each night which was a tribute to Miss Roberts and one she well earned and deserved. She being a pianist and organist was invited to see the famous tabernacle organ. Photos were taken of Miss Roberts on Temple Square and a feature is being done on her by the Magazine, Meet the People as well as a center spread in the Saturday Feb. 21 issue of the Deseret News. WHEN INTERVIEWED about her career, Miss Roberts said, one has to be inspired to write and compose and she feels strongly about this. The overwhelming reception she received and the love extended her is representative of the LDS people or and the hospitality shown by every single person she met, an experience she will never forget and everlasting memories of Utah. She only regreted she didnt have more time to spend in Utah. She hopes to return some time so she may visit the Great Salt of Utahs Ski resorts. Everything that has happened has been so exciting.
