Margaret Brough, a visitor, was welcomed and she gave an introduction concerning the musical Tall Tom Jefferson which is to be presented to the public by the Kaysville East Stake, directed by Leone Gurr. There will be two at nightly performances Davis High School, Feb. 17 and The author, Ruth 18. Roberts, is making a special effort to come here from New York to see her musical on stage. Jefferson which will be presented Feb. 17 and 18 at the Davis High School Auditorium, Kaysville, by the Kaysville East Stake. There will be four performances, two each night. The first will begin at 6 p.m. and the second will begin at 8 p.m. chorus and costumes under the direction choreography; Shirley Smith, all the family. They went by plane to San Juan, Puerto Rico where they boarded the Greek ship Amerikanis and had the fabulous experience of visiting the Islands of Curacao; S-- S Caracus, Venezuela; Grenada; Guadaloupe and St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. Mrs. Melvin Lotz returned home Wednesday by plane from Taft, Calif, where she spent the past 10 days with her brother and sister-in-laMr. and Mrs. Jack Miller and family, due to the serious illness of Mrs. Jack Miller. She came in for the funeral service of her brother Leon Miller, who died in California last week with a heart attack. His funeral services were held Thursday in Kaysville. She also attended the funeral services in California prior to coming home.
