Show Military wives capped' as Volunteer ARC nurse aids Fifteen Hill Air Force Bae wives of military personnel at Hill Air Force Base were capped as volunteer American Red Cross nui se's aides in a colorful candlelight ceremony Monday evening In the base chapel annex. This was the first class of its type ever to be capped at Hill base Weber County Chapter, ARC, iponsored the ceiemony. In addition to the fifteen wives who were "caDped, many other volunteer military workers at Hill were honored. The nurse's aide course, consisting of 40 hours of classroom instruction and hospital practice, was under the direction of Mrs. Lucy Hammond, director of nursing services of the Weber County Chapter, and Maj. Helen E. chief nurse at the base hospital. The wives who weie capped included Mesdames Philip A. Bar-alFrederick J. Betz; L. V. Bradford; Robert F. Douglas; Elbert B. Gentry; George H. Glassman; Edward J. John L. Johnson, Kloess; Edward J Krocker; William G McKee, Geiald B. Mickey; Edmund M. Miles, Charles N. Nessosis; Foster H. Peterkin, and R. L. Robinson. Additional honors were awarded by the Weber County Chapter, ARC, to the following: Capped as a staff aide; Mrs. H. D. Breeden; pins; Mesdames C. C. Williams, nurse's aide; K. K.
