Whitesides will obsene wedding annhersary with an open house at their Idaho home Sunday. Couple observes 65th iveclding anniversary Layton Congratulations fiom their many friends and relatnes in this vicinity are being sent to Mr. and Mrs John A Whitesides The Whitesides will celebrate Layton Locals Layton Mrs. George L. 17 Talbot Dr , returned home Tuesday from Salt Lake City, where she has been most of the past month undergoing treatment for a serious ee infection. She is recovering satisfactorily. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Cowan and family, Pajson, visited bnefly at the J. L. Watt home Monday. Mrs. Cowan is the sister of Mrs. Watt. The Cowans are on their wav to the Pacific Northwest. The doctors and all employees of the Tanner Clinic and their partners enjoyed a party last Friday at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Noall Tanner. They played baseball and other games to work up an appetite for the delicious barbequed steak supper. Thirty-fiv- e were present. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Madsen and family Steven, Jeffery, Wade and baby daughter, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Stevenson, West Lay-toreturned home after visiting friends and relatives m Utah. Mrs. Madsen is the former Maru Stevenson. Making it a family reunion, Mrs. George (Beth) D. Watt, Torrence, Calif , joined m, as did the Jack Stev enson family. Mrs. Watt has returned home by plane Mrs. Lloyd Andrews (Ruth Spackman) and four children, Wayne, Janet Louise, Jerry Lee, and Steven, Lemon Grove, Calif., are visiting for a month at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs Lee Spackman, 208 North Fort Lane Mrs. Jack Cook has returned home after undergoing major sur- - Tol-bo- t, a, their 63th wedding anniversary with an open house at their country home a mile south of Burley, Idaho, on Sunday, July 26, from p m. The couple were mamed May 31, 1894, at Layton and later received their endowments at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They moved from Layton to Burley m 1914 and have lived there since Mrs. Whitesides celebrated her 85th birthday on May 23 and Mr. Whitesides turned 88 on June 3 The following children were born to them. Mis. Ramona Hill, deceased; Mrs Zona Mills, Evanston, Wyo ; John M. Whitesides, Salt Lake City, Louetta White-sidedeceased, George L. The parents are members of the Kaysville Fourth LDS Ward. In addition to the parents, the child is survived by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Merle Warren, Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Orville Child, Layton; greatgrandfathers, Albert C. W'arren, Centerville; and Glen Evans, Layton. Burial was in the Kaysville-Lay-toMemorial Park.
