The new lights on the baseball field will be used for the first time this eve- ning. Prior to the second game of the evening featuring the Clearfield and Lay-to- n teams, a brief ceremony to initiate the installation of the lights, will be held under the supervision of the county baseball lighting committee. The lighting project, in the planning stages for several years was installed on the official county field adjoining the Davis County fairgrounds in Kavsville at a cost of lighting system consists tt of 160 1, lights grouped in sets of 20 to 25 lights on each of eight poles, which rise 80 feet above ground. An acceptance test was held last night before the lighting committee at the site. This committee consists of Commissioner Eugene Tolman, Syracuse, chairman; Lloyd A. Bishop, Kaysville, secretary ; Commissioner Clyde B. Adams, Layton; DeWayne Jay, Kaysville; William Holt, Syracuse; Robert E. Marker, Bountiful; Grant Kaysville, county recreation director ; Clyde Lundberg, Kaysville, and Claude Draayer, Clinton.
