Borrowman, son of Dr. and Mrs. S. Ralph Borrowman, Bountiful, received a Master of Science degree in health education from USU. He had previously earned a bachelors degree in health and physical education in 1974 from USU. To complete requirements for the degree, Borrowman collected opinions of Logan residents towards the Bear River District Health Department. He has been active in student affairs on campus. HE IS married to Carmen Pinto, Salt Lake City and they have one child. Borrowman is a community health education specialist for the Bear River District Health Department. LaGrande R. Brough, son of Lula Brough, 563 N. Main, Bountiful, received a Master of Education degree in secondary education. He had a earned previously bachelors degree in indus- trial drts in 1953 from USU. BROUGH IS the husband of Julia Foy, Bountiful, and they have four children. He is the director of the program at the Davis County Development Center, Farmington. The graduates were all four and five years old. THE GRADUATES were of the Headstart members program in Clearfield at Wasatch Elementary. Teachers and parents planned the event which included special awards, songs, a graduate parade and refreshments. Their diplomas certified them as graduates from Headstart and ready to go onto higher education - At DHS SENIOR officers will be Harold Gailey of Kaysville has announced he will not seek another term as Davis Board School County member. MR. GAILEY has served three terms on School Board District No. 3 and his term expires December 31, 1976. The position is a four year term office and will be available. Those interested in filing for this position, should file with the Davis County Clerk by June 30, 1976. np North Davis Junior High held an activity week May Each day was designated as a 3-- day, and the students who wished to participate were judged by their classes to compete for best of dress-u- p the day. LeAnn Smith and Richard Davies for 9th grade. and WEDNESDAY WAS Dress-u- p Day and the 9th grade students had the opportunity to hear the Sophomore Mens Choir from Clearfield High School. 50s MONDAY WAS Kiddy Day and the winners were Chad Griffin and Heidi Ray for 7th grade, Janice Lynch and Matt Denhalter for 8th grade, and Mike Dahle and Now Natalie Scoffield for 9th grade. The Tuesday Clash Day winners were Keith Poulter and Janalee Wood for 7th grade, Matt Denhalter and Donita Townley for 8th grade, Day winners for Thursday were DesAll Anderson and Chris Funke for 7th grade, Rick Richmond and Teresa Evans for 8th grade and Lori Chandler and Scott Carter for the 9th grade. Election week consisted of person to person campaigning and colorful posters. Mr. and Mrs. Page, Kaysville, earned a Master of Science degree in communicative disorders at USU. She had a previously received Milton H. bachelors degree municative disorders in com- in 1972. COMPLETE TO requirements for the degree, Mrs. Carlson wrote a thesis entitled, An Experimental Analysis of Verbal Expansion as a Determiner of Verbal in Headstart Output Children. She is married to Larry J. Carlson, Heber City, and they have one child. American Colleges and Universities. James is married to Jan Thornton, Woods Cross, and they have one child. He is an auditor with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell Mrs. Nora Miller, Mrs. The Kaysville East Stake Relief Society held their annual Relief Society visiting teacher convention Friday evening at the stake center for all visiting teachers throughout the stake. A special program consisted of Afton Smith from the Relief Society General Board, Sait Lake City and President Lawrence E. Welling as guest speakers followed by special musical numbers, a 1776 skit and refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hammer entertained at a dinner club on Saturday evening April 24. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Max Clark, Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Umpleby, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Furgeson, north Ogden and their families were Mothers Day guests at dinner of Mr. H. William and Mrs. Ward. Umpleby. Dorothy Lotz, Mrs. Morjoria Ann Burton and children have been visiting in California with Jack Miller and family at Taft and in Pomona with Mrs. Lynn Miller and family. Mrs. Burton and children returned home earlier and later Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Lotz returned home Saturday.
