But that is only because we forget that none of us ever walks alone: that the hands of the God Who made us are ever near to assist us, if only we would accept His aid. He can and will undo the consequences of our worst blunders, but only on condition that we turn to Him. THE HANDS OF GOD in company with the Ho made Mom sponS; Sons of Utah Mrs. Rex M. JOHN McGINN of the Paulist Fathers Father, into Thy hands I commend my spirit. It is always wise to think as Christ thought, and it was our Lord's prevailing conviction that His life and work were always in the hands of His Father. It is helpful for us to remember, at all times, that our lives and all our concerns are in good hands. WELCOMING HANDS . . .God, for the duration of our life on earth, is removed from our gaze. But He is actually very near to us all. And He is disposed to greet us, welcome us and cherish us, if we made the slightest advance in His direction. He is not aloof, He does not stand on ceremony, and noth ing that interests us does He considers trivial or insignificant. His y arms are outstretched, to embrace us, whether we stammer our love or need in some spontaneous ejaculation, or when we join with our brethren in the lofty prayers of our Mother the Church. ever-read- ... No HEALING HANDS had such ever earthly physician magic in his hands. God can probe into the inner reaches of our being and can gently remove our souls blemishes, sores and diseases. Nor is any ailment incurable with God. Whatever be our spiritual malady, God knows its cause and can apply the needed remedy. The penitent saints remind us how completely God can cure the most loatbhsome, vile moral illness, and how He can lead the most unpromising soul to heights of sanctity. STRONG HANDS . . .
