All persons interested will please take notice that on May 21, there was filed in the office of the undersigned a petition by Layton WeCity Corporation applying to Disber Basin Water Conservancy trict for the allotment of 250 acre-feof Weber Basin Project water annually pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the petition, a copy of which is on file in the office of the undersigned for public inspection. The Boaul of Directors of the District will meet in public session at the office of the Board of Directors of the District in Room r.oi; Kiesel Building, Ogden, Utah, at b:00 oclock a. m., on Friday, August 30, 1057, to consider such petition, and all objections thereto wrhich may be presented in writing by any person showing cause why said petition should not be granted. All persons interested may appear at such hearing and show cause in writing why said petition should not be granted, and may advance reasons and arguments to show that said city and its inhabitants will not be benefited by the proposed petition and order to the amount of the taxes which will be imposed as a result of the granting thereof. Failure of any person interested to do so shall be deemed as assent on his part to the granting of said petition.
