Mr. and Mrs. Russell employees at Hill AFB received the Outstanding Performance Rating a coveted award presented annually to a select few who have proved superior in their work. The Incentive Awards committee just released names of those who qualify for the honor. Each year the performance of all employees at Hill AFB is judged by their supervisors. They are given a rating of Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory. If supervisors feel their employees have been outstanding in all aspects of their the work, they may recommend Incentive Awards committee that the employee be given an Outstanding Performance rating. The supervisor has to prove to the committee that the em loyee was outstanding in all aspects of his job. J .. t One Moment, Please Richard Carrington, in The Story of Our Earth writes: Let us imagine that, by seme magic, the whole of earths history could be compressed into a single year. On this scale, the first eight months would be completely without life. The following tw o would be devoted to the most primitive of creatures. No mammals would appear until the second week in December. Man, as we know' him, would strut onto the stage at approximately 11:45 p.m. on December 31. The age of written history would occupy little more than the last sixty seconds on the clock! A special Incentive Awards committee then evaluates the recommendations turned in by the supervisors. If they also judge the work outstanding, the top rating is ap- proved. In addition to the rating, the employees also received Sustained Superior Performance awards which carried with it a cash award ranging from 100 to $300. Only three employees did not receive this award and that was because they had received a pay increase or similar award within the period.
