IX Scholarship, NO. 38 $25, Trophy Erm Await Queen Judges will Kaysville pick a Miss Kaysville and two attendants from a bevy of twelve pretty girls at a beauty queen contest to be held at Kaysville Theatre Monday evening at 6 p. m. The public is invited to attend the contest and movie that follows for the regular theatre prices. Proceeds will be turned over to the Kaysville Junior Chamber of Commerce, sponsors of the contest, by the theatre and its owners, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Liston, of Kaysville. The movie will be The Eddie Duchin Story, starring Tyrone Power and Kim Novak. The girls will be judged first in LAYTON, DAVIS COUNTY, UTAH bathing suits, then for talent and finally in formals. Miss Kaysville will receive a half-yetuition scholarship at Weber College, $2.1.00 in cash and a trophy. First and second attendants will receive $11 cash each. The .talent winner will receive $10 cash. The three will ride in the Davis County Fair Parade and the queen will be a contestant in the Miss Davis County queen contest to be held Friday, August 10, at 8 p.m., at Davis High Schools auditorium. Calene Ilenrie, who is Miss National Guard and an attendant to Miss Utah will crown Miss Kaysville Monday evening. The Miss Kaysville contest is s sponsored by the Kaysville under the direction of Dick Bowman, chairman; Homer Reed, Hylon Smith and Robert Majbr, with each of the queens being sponsored by a Kaysville business.
