He holds a master's degree in health education and a Ph.D. in physical education. He obtained his physical therapy training at Stanford University. His teaching duties ranged from teaching anatomy to nurses to instruction in First Aid. But as someone trained in physical education, he says, if I teach it, I decided I had better incorporate it into my own life, or continue it, in his case. For the past 25 years. Marcusen has walked an average of 10 miles a week. He works out at the Ogden Athletic Club virtually every day, and, for crosstraining, bicycles.
