D R. R G. G about four years then went to work for the Bamberger R. R Rand R. R and was employed by them for 37 years retiring in 1950 P Perhaps few of us know of the foe hours Arch has spent writing writing writing writ writ- ing to our boys in the service the thelast thelast thelast last e eight years He has also sent the Improvement Era and Deseret News to them He is the oldest living member of the Farmington choir He sang with the choir when Uncle Jodie Robinson Robinson Rob Rob- inson was conductor Arch is a am m member of the Farmington Evening Evening Eve Eve- ning fling Recreation club organized years ago and still holding meet meet- ings On April 5 this club has been invited to the home of the club president Laura Cook in Salt Lake City Most of the members are living out of town or have passed on Also visited Hyrum and Nita Van Fleet thyme Hyme has not been well for some time but he gets around a little and enjoys visiting visiting visiting visit visit- ing with friends and neighbors There are people in every com com- who do good deeds that are arc not known S Such ch a person was Hyrum Van Fleet I know of missionaries who have received ed from five to ten dollars every few months In fact if ever anyone anyone anyone any any- one was in need thyme Hyme was I always willing to help From the Van Fleets I went to the Gertrude Ellis home Mrs Ellis looks wonderful for a a woman her age and after so serious an illness cheerful and sweet as she always is |
