Show WORD FROM farmington editor wo we all were neree agreeably ably surprised to witness the performance given by the dramatic Company of your place although I 1 am no critic yet I 1 know when a play is well rendered ech each member in the company performed his part with ease case and grace the little mute deserves special 6 credit in 1 11 tile the manner lie he acted we hope that thal tha company will soon favor us with another performance now a few words in regards ra to the bountiful brass band which accompanied the dramatic here last week the only thing we nye did not like was wal ls the team that brought the band here it seems as if bountiful could not afford a better looking outfit the band did well with their music considering the practice they had brother neville was strictly in it so were the drums brother thomas look looked ed ver very y dignified 0 behind his bis ins instrument trume lit in ili speaking of the brass ban band I 1 will simply say that farmington has baa to day the best organized band in the county its members are all talented gentlemen who are taking a pride in the organization there are no professional musicians in our hand band as there are in the bountiful band yet we boast off the best and roost most competent band our cornet players are fair for beginners so are the altos and trombones our diligent player holds his own with any of them then comes the the basses the tuba is well handled by brother ted cotterell Cott crell who will no doubt make a professional player on his instrument in ill the future we do not boast by the assertion that we have the best trombone play er crin in tile the county and we can call prove the above everybody is now hard at work P putting C up hay and there is not mile much news will send more news next time G B June JUIle 22 1692 |
