Show f -iit f i 4 Celebrating their 60th William H. (Bill) and Norma j Holbrook will celebrate their 60th r wedding anniversary in May. They : were married in the Salt Lake Tem-' Tem-' pie on May 10, 1927 and have lived ; in Bountiful their entire married life. They met in Cedar City when :' Bill was teaching school. Norma was born and raised in Cedar and - they met while both were perform-: perform-: ing in a play. r Over the years they have both : been very active in civic and church affairs. Norma has per-: per-: formed in numerous musical prog-: prog-: rams and productions, and has held : numerous church positions and is : still active in the Lady Lions and " the Art Guild. : Bill has been a member of the : Lions Club for almost 50 years and was voted "Outstanding Lion of I the Year" in 1972-73. He taught : American government in the high : schools of Davis County for 43 : years and served on the city coun-r coun-r cil and as Justice of the Peace for 12 years. He has served in the LDS : Church at the stake or ward level r all of his life. NORMA AND W. H. (BILL) HOLBROOK They have a son, Dean, Bountiful, Bounti-ful, and a daughter Norma Jean, of Devon, Pennsylvania and enjoy six grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. An open house will be held at the home of Dean and Elaine Holbrook, Hol-brook, 360 N. 700 E., Bountiful from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 9. All of their friends and relatives are invited. |
