Show Shearer-DuBois Darla Jean Shearer and William Craig DuBois were married June 23 at the Layton Community Church by Reverand Horace McMullen. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth D. Shearer of Bountiful. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William T. DuBois, Kaysville. The bride wore an organza gown with French chantilly lace and a Queen-Ann neckline. The skirt was edged with chantilly lace and crystal pleating that swept into a Wautte train. DONNA White was matron of honor. The bridesmaid was Laurie Lutz. Flower girls were Linda and Sharla Wagner. All were dressed in peach sheer polyester dresses with a ruffled neckline, flounced hems and fishtail back. Best man duties were performed by Mark Juelke with Craig Parkinson Parkin-son as an usher. Ring bearer was Terry White. OUT OF town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Mark Juelke, Colorado Colora-do Springs, Colo., Mr. and Mrs. Stan White, Terry and Cody, Lander, Wyo., Mr. and Mrs. Cozell Wagner, Londa and Sharla, Denmark, la., Mr. and Mrs. C.V. Shearer, Poison, Mt., Mrs. Madalene Flies, Mrs. Audrey Quist, Helena, Mt., Mrs. Ava Madren, Mrs. Inez Shaw, Spokane, Spo-kane, Wa., Mr. and Mrs. John Vaughn and Dennis, Cannon Beach, Ore., and Mrs. Donna Knudsen, Phoenix, Ariz. Dana Marks-Sundquist wrote special music for the ceremony and MR. AND MRS. CRAIG DUBOIS was assisted by Elaine Schlehuber in performing the song. PRENUPTIAL parties were given by Kim Fisher, JoAnn Thompson, Cheryl Sinclair, Elaine Schlehuber and Job's Daughters Bethel 9 drill team. The bride is a graduate of Bountiful Boun-tiful High School, has attended USU and is presently attending the U. of U. She is presently employed by IBM. THE GROOM graduated from Roy High School. He then spent six years in the Navy submarine service. He is also presently employed em-ployed by IBM. Their honeymoon will be spent on the west coast traveling from Portland to San Diego. They plan to make their home in Layton. |
