Problem: Strong, stale or musty odor in ice cubes; strong taste like onion, garlic, metal or plastic. Remedies: Use air-tigwrapping materials that are moisture proof and vapor proof for food wrapping. Dump the ice bin weekly so a fresh supply of ice will always be available. Avoid storing foods with strong odors for long periods of time. This includes casseroles and pizza with onion and garlic. He was bom March 12. 1922 in Farmington, a son of John Edwin and Annie Mary Johnson Baker. He married Oleen Hardy Baker March 31. 1942 in Evanston. Wyo. Their marriage was later solemnized m the Salt Lake LDS Temple Oct. 5. 1960. She preceded him in death Sept. 3. 19S0. He was born and raised in Farmington, and lived in Layton for the last 48 years. He attended Davis High School in Kaysville. and was a member of the Layton Wasatch Ward of the LDS Church. He served in World War II and was wounded in action Nov. 1, 1944. He received both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Throughout his life he enjoyed 1 fishing, hunting and family NOTICE Surviving are one son and one daughter. Mark Dee Baker.
