Show Gary L. Grimmett Ifij ' 'V 'Ill; litPJ' P- SwJt W Z Gary Luane Grimmett, a printer with Newspaper Agency Corporation Corpora-tion for almost 15 years, died in a Bountiful hospital Tuesday follow-, follow-, ing a heart attack. He was 56. " A member of the International Typographical Union, he worked for 23 newspapers during his career, was the author of five books on various subjects, and editor edi-tor and publisher of three weekly newspapers in Idaho. He was the owner of Shelly Pioneer and Market Mar-ket Lake Enterprises, and later worked as director of printing for Ricks College. He left Idaho and took a job in the government printing print-ing office in Washington, D.C. prior to coming to the Newspaper Agency Corporation in Salt Lake City April 4, 1973, where he worked work-ed as a printer and proofreader. He was born April 8, 1931 in Moreland, Ida., to Wayne Waldo and Erma Matilda Taylor Grimmett Grim-mett and attended schools in the Aberdeen, Idaho area. He graduated gradu-ated from Idaho State University in 1955 with a degree in printing and journalism after filling a mission for the LDS Church to Central America Amer-ica and served in several church positions until his death. He married Sherrie Jensen in 1958. They were later divorced. He married Jessie Holt Line April 26, 1968. He is survived by his wife. Wash.; Todd Jay Grimmett, and Kerrie Line Hess, both Salt Lake City; mother, Bountiful; two , sisters and a brother, Joyce Dug-gar, Dug-gar, Bountiful; Necia Doty, Conn.; Clive, Coeur D'Alene, Ida., and three grandchildren. He was preceded pre-ceded in death by his father. Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Orchard 10th Ward Chapel.
