Show To Celebrate 80th Year K ' ' H GRACE JONES SMITH Friends and relatives are invited- to join with the children of Grace Jones Smith to honor her on her 80th birthday anniversary. An open house will be held Sunday Sun-day Oct. 14, 1979 between 7-9 p.m. at the Second Ward chapel, 650 South 200 East, Bountiful. No gifts please. GRACE J. Smith was born and lived most of her life in southern Utah (Enoch) near Cedar City. She and her husband, hus-band, Stanley A. Smith moved to Bountiful in 1955. He passed away in 1977 after 59 years together. They are parents of six children: Ashton, Gordon, Udell and Anna Turner, all of Bountiful; Drex of Alameda, Calif.; and Grace Marie Dennis Den-nis of Provo. Grace is beloved by a growing posterity of 29 grandchildren and 29 greatgrandchildren. WHILE sustaining and sup- porting her husband in many callings in the LDS Church she also has given continuous church and community service ser-vice particularity as a talented talent-ed pianist and an organizer and participant in vocal groups. She and her husband were temple ordinance workers in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for many years. They served a mission in England in their retirement years. |
