The regular monthly union meeting of the Weber Stake Sunday school was held in the academy at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. There were present President L. W. Shurtliff of the stake presidency, George M. Cannon of the general board, members of the Granite stake board and about 60 per cent of the Sunday school workers of the Weber stake. The meeting was presided over by Superintendent Thomas B. Evans. The congregation sang The Cause of Truth. Opening prayer was offered by Carl E. Peterson, The meeting continued by singing "If d There's Sunshine in Tour Heart. M. McKendrick addressed the congregation upon the text, "Phyalcl&n, Heal Thyself," after which short addresses were made by President L. W. Shurtliff and Joseph F. Merrill, a mem. ber of the Granite stake board, upon the extent and mission of the Sunday school organisation. The departments adjourned at 1:15 to their respective class rooms, where the following topics were discussed: Lesson, Kindergarten department Lottie of by Esther," presented Story F. Smith.
