A. Kennedy, president; S. J. Grinin, An interesting case involving the ownership of a certain horse occupied the attention of the municipal court yesterday. J. A. Taylor brought suit against his relative, Jedediah Taylor, for $80, the reputed worth of the horse that has evidently had many masters. Attorney Skeen represented the plaintiff and Lawyer Pratt the defendant. The plaintiff alleged that he had a horse on the range and two and a half years ago the horse disappeared. He claimed that a few weeks ago he found the same horse in the possession of the defendant. The defendant says he bought the animal from George Taylor, who in turn swore that he the nag from Charles Ellsworth, who testified that he bought it from Walker West Mr. West stated that he got the horse from Mr. Burdett, a local politician, who testified that he had bought a horse from Taylor, the plaintiff. There were many other witnesses to prove that the horse had changed a great deal in size and color during all this time. The jury brought in a verdict In favor of the defendant C. O.
