The boys were arrested Friday In a Washington avenue rooming house In company with two girls who were recently paroled from the Btate Industrial school. These girls had been doing houaework In the homes of some prominent people and were behaving themselves and walking the straight and narrow path. The officials of the school were highly elated over the reform when the two fellows came to the glrln and tempted them. The superintendent of the reform school was notified that one of the girls had remained out all night. Assistant Superintendent Kneaaa went out on a still hunt In company with one of the officers of the police department and soon came across the two couples In a rooming houae. The two glrla were returned to the reform school and the men taken to the police station, where they were charged with fornication. They were arraigned on this charge before Judge Murphy thla morning and bound over. Officials of the reform school stated this morning that if there were fewer of this class of men In the world there would be fewer girls In the industrial Institution. These fellows are ever ready to pull a girl down the minute, they find she has been an inmate of a reform school. In this particular case the girls were getting along nicely and were tx ginning to live as good women should, when Eggleston and Dryndale, hearing of their record, tempted them until they fell. e, AUTHOR OF LATIN BOOKS DEAD.
