On the road, the Eagles compiled a record of increasing their road victories to 12 (against 16 losses and one tie). Band to Perform The seasons first "College Buck Night has been scheduled at the Salt Palace for Thursday, March 9 when the Golden Eagles entertain the San Diego Gulls in what promises to be a bitter battle for 4th place. Special guests of the Golden Eagles, and performing prior to the game and between periods, will be the Brigham Young University Marching Band, under the direction of Grant Elkington. The special "Buck Night in the past two years, said Don Scott, assistant manager of the hockey team, have been extremely popular with college and university students throughout the state, with strongest support from BYU, the University of Utah, and Westminster College. All college and university students may attend the game against the Gulls, for Just $1.00 In the General Admission section, or $2.00 in the Dress Circle corner seats.
