Callister, NOTICE AND MCKESSON IT IS ORDERED by the Board of Directors of the Utah Transit Authority that the unincorporated area of Salt Lake County may be annexed to and become part of the Utah Transit Authority, a public transit district organized under the laws of the State of Utah, upon acceptance by the Salt Lake County Commission and ratification by a majority of the qualified electors of the area, of the following terms and conditions: 1. The unincorporated area of Salt Lake County dull have at least of service forty (40) operated by the Utah Transit es 2. The unincorporated area of Salt Lake County shall appoint at least two (2) members of the Board of Directors of the Utah Transit Authority based upon a formula of one (1) director for every twenty (20) served by the Authority in the unincorporated area. 3. The unincorporated area shall pay the Utah Transit Authority as their fair pro-rashare for acquisition costs of buses, new garage and terminal facilities, and other equipment the sum of Three Thousand Twenty Dollars ($3,020.00) per of service and for operating final year subsidy during the 1970-7- 1 the additional sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) per ta ile of service. The Transit Authority proposition appearing on the November 3, 1970 ballot shall read as follows: TRANSIT AUTHORITY Shall the unincorporated area of Salt Lake County be annexed to and become a part of the Utah Transit Authority, which can operate the means necessary for mass transportation of persons, and to possess the powers and undertake the obligations as specified by the laws of the State of Utah.
