Within a few days upwards of one hundred illicit distiilers havo been arrested. The penalty on an average in these cases will be $100 and imprisonment two months. The Department received information of the capture of fifty additional illicit distillers in the same section of the country. This raid has not beeu made without some loss as a local agent by tho name of Grqer, belonging in Pinkins county, Georgia, has mysteriously disappeared, and it is feared that he has been foully dealt with.
