They have agreed to give tho city authorities the taxes of Corinne this year and next, Amounting to about three thousand dollars, and have locatetLthe bridge at the foot of Montana street. Those who have been investigating the matter, say that this amount with what can be raised by subscription, will construct a good bridge at this point, and grade the road out to connect with the county road running north from Willard City. The contract for the bridge will be let iu a few days to be completed before the cold weather sets in. The City Council should not fail, at tho same time, to make arrangements to have the bridge on the north side of town repaired. It is estimated by various parties that from one to three hundred dollars will repair it, and it will certainly be a great to to have tho city advantage the bridge kept in good repair. A large portion of the grain brought to town comes through tho northern portion of the valley and the distance will be shortened two or three miles for those living in that sectiun-b- y keeping the present road open. The same advantage will accrue to those living south of hero by the new road, that will bo opened, and a large amount of emigrant travel will now pas through the town that would otherwise have crossed the river above here. The responsibility now rents with the City Council and they should see that the matter is not delayed. We see by the Daily Sentinel of Indianapolis, Indiana, that J.
