We are very lucky to have presidents because if we didn't have any presidents we wouldnt have any laws and if we didnt have any laws America would be very miserable. I am very thankful to have presidents. Tami Folkman Abraham Lincoln gave our country freedom. Abe liked to read a lot. But his family only had one book. He borrowed lots of books. One day he borrowed a book called George Washington. Abe liked the book very well. He keept it in a safe place by his bed. One night it rained. The book got wet. The book was not his. Our president right now should help the poor people. Each day people are dieing If Lincoln was alive and our presidents I would trust him Bret Lucas. It lets me remember that we are a free country and it lets me remember of the Revolutionary War and the Declaration of Independence signed in 1776. What else I know is that George Washington was chosen for George Washington to be our president. They thought he could do a good job. If this country wasnt a free country they could do what ever they wanted. There would of been a lot of people being tooken into prison and other stuff like that. Danny D. President's Day means to me. It means equal rights and justice for all. If it wasnt for What presidents signing the Law that prohibits little children to work, theyd be working.
